Going for a long walk with the dogs

Packing the Camp Giusti Toy Box and going down the the Sierra West Bernese Mountain Dog Regional Specialty. Charlie is in a Draft Test and Agility Trial. We return on October 21.

Giusti's Enterprising Art's donation the the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of American's Health Auction for 2010 made from Bob Schmidt's facebook photo.

Best of Breed plaque ordered by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Greater Seattle for a supported entry at the Puyallup Dog Show in January 2010. Yes that is Duke on the plaque

Dragonfly Plaque

John at Harmony Pottery has been getting me to make these Dragonfly plaques for the store. Shipped off two yesterday.

We shipped off some wall hangings including a Loon Diptych to Moon Tree Design in Lake Placid, NY last week. You can find their location on our Google Map

We are back from the long dog walk in San Francisco. Charlie and Tom passed the Novice Draft test on the 4th of July. See video on the Camp Giusti Blog. We made a batch of Redwood Nature Prints today. It is foggy so it will take a few days to dry. We also shipped Nature Prints to Easy Street and Oceanic Arts in Newport, Oregon. They called and said the round plaques are flying off the walls.

Shipping Day

Shipped more Raku to a gallery that has not ordered for a few years. We had to add them to our Google Map. Stewart's Village Gallery in Waxhaw, NC.

New Morning Gallery in Asheville, NC ordered Nature Prints, Wall Hangings and a Egret Plaque. You can see photos of our work on the Giusti's Enterprising Art Web site.

Harmony Gallery was sent our Tear Drop Earrings. I am working on getting our Dichroic Jewelry on-line.

Shipping Day

We sent the Not Just Mud Gallery some more Wall Hangings and Nature Prints today. You can order our work on-line on their web site.

Winterfire in Blowing Rock, NC was sent some Nature Prints.

Bayside Gallery in Suttons Bay, MI is getting some Nature Prints and Wall Hangings.

Chuckanut Bay Gallery in Chuckanut Bay WA was shipped more Nature Prints, Wall Hangings and a Egret Diptych.

Blue Heron Gallery in Florence,OR was sent Pots, Cornerstones, Plaques, Nature Prints and Wall Hangings. Just about everything we make. I will be sending them some of our dichroic glass earrings the first of next week.

Nature Printing Season

We shipped Nature Prints to Earth & State and Max'ims on Firday. Our inventory is getting low so we made our first batch of the season over the weekend. Got some use out of the new tables Tom made.

Potlatch give away

Janie Walsh a friend of our family my entire life. A painter and artist, someone I always have admired gave away her paintings yesterday at a potlatch. A great woman and her potlatch was a beautiful gift to the community. It was an amazing sight, a street full of people carrying Janie's paintings to their car. I was happy I got there in time to take one home. Here is the Janie painting I brought home to add to the Giusti Collection.

Visit to Harmony Pottery

Harmony is a very small town just north of Cayucos, CA. It is one block long and has a closed Post office, Harmony Pottery, Glass studio and Wine shop. Harmony has been selling Giusti Raku for at least 15 maybe 20 years.

On another dog walk

It is time for one of those LONG dog walks. This time we are headed down to Caycucos, CA for Herding Camp 101. The Camp is not far from Harmony Pottery in Harmony Ca. a Gallery that has been selling our work for years and we have never visited so we will get to visit and deliver some work too. We also shipped work to the Shoreline's Gallery in Poulsbo, Wa.today.

We will be back from our long walk June 19th.

Today we shipped some nature prints to the Not Just Mud Gallery in Portsmouh, NH. You can order our work on line on their web site at Not Just Mud

New Pins and Pendants

Still hot in the kiln. Just fired up some Entlebucher Pins for the Entlefest this year in South Lake Tahoe. The Entlebucher is another Swiss Mountain Dog. Also some new Giusti Glass pendants that match the our earrings.

These two Giusti plaques were in the Health Auction at the Bernese Mountain Dog Specialty. They went for a total of $1050.00. Total amount raised at the Auction was $46,00.00. Donated in memory of Duke. Duke is on one of the plaques the other was the specialty logo.
